Hello, I was unable to find an answer to my question on the support board. My question is...why are my filled trades automatically closed at the end of the day without my consent? This has happened multiple times. You will see my last filled order was automatically closed at 3:40 est on the same day, even though I did NOT initiate this action. Thanks for your help! |

Most likely this is due to the "Time in Force" that you have set for your order. Refer to the following: Basic Trading and the Trade Window: Main >> TimeInForce (Time in Force): Also be aware of this setting for attached orders: Attached Orders: Time In Force If not the above, then you would need to look in your Trade Activity Log and find the order that closed your position and look at the "OrderActionSource" for that order and see where it was generated from. Refer to the following: Trade Activity Log Analysis: Determining the Origin of a New/Modified Order For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service: Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing |
