Hello, I would like to use a ray tool and convert it as a subgraph so I would be able to use it as a stop (or else) in a spreadsheet for trading. Is that possible ? If so how? Thank you for your help, Paul |

It is possible, but you have to do a bit of manipulation in order to get their. First, add the Ray that you want. Then add the "Spreadsheet Formula" study to the chart. The Spreadsheet Formula, despite it's name, uses the Alert Syntax, and the Alerts have a method to access information from a drawing to be used in an alert. Refer to the following: Study/Chart Alerts And Scanning: Referencing Chart Drawings Therefore, in the Spreadsheet formula, in order to reference the price of one of the anchors from the ray drawing, you would enter the following formula: =UDID[1].A1 Where [1] is the positive value of the ID of the drawing and A1 is the first anchor point. The ID of the drawing is shown on the Chart Drawing Properties on the "Anchors" page. You can then reference the subgraph from the Spreadsheet Formula in other studies to do what you want. Hello John, Thank you, Just did it but the result is anchor 1 value !! =UDID[25].A1 =17753.5 (NQ in this case) In the spreadsheet for study the result of that formula is the anchor 1 value for all bars! Have I missed something? I was expecting different values according to each bar.(and the angle of the ray!) Thank you |

If you want the value of the line at each bar, then use the option to reference a drawing by bar value. Refer to the following section for this specifically: Study/Chart Alerts And Scanning: Reference by Bar Value For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service: Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing |
