I have trade allocation setup for 5 accounts. It always works. Tonight I made two trades, for the first trade, trade allocation worked perfectly. On the next trade, trade allocation didn't work at all. I tested trade allocation by setting a limit order and it appeared as normal immediately after I noticed the discrepancy. this image from my main account shows the two correct trades: https://www.sierrachart.com/image.php?Image=1723182791880.png this image from one of the secondary accounts shows the first trade, but the second didnt post, even though it obviously would have filled. https://www.sierrachart.com/image.php?Image=1723182921873.png I know there it nothing you can do about this, but I want to do what I can to make sure it doesnt happen again, Thanks, BJ |

You can check your Trade Service Log and see if there is any information in there regarding why the trades for the other account did not occur. Otherwise, at this point, we can not say what happened or why. The only recommendation we can give is to have charts open that have the other accounts selected so you can see that the trades are placed on those other accounts. Refer to the following for how to set the trade account for a chart: Basic Trading and the Trade Window: Main/C >> Trade Account (Selecting Trade Account for Chart / Trade DOM) For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service: Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing |

Found the problem, posting incase anyone else runs into the same issue- Trade Window > Menu > Settings > Order Allocation to Trade Accounts Enable - Order Allocation to Trade Accounts Include in Linking I had the trade windows linked, but had not enabled this option, and I must have clicked another chart when I entered the trade. |
