Hi, I have a couple of issues which my colleagues and I are unable to resolve and require support for. a) When trading live on a prop account, I have noticed that the Orders & Positions are not showing on the DOM. However, when I switch to SIM they do appear on the DOM. Cannot work out how to fix this one, could you please help? b) When my prop account is opened, it automatically opens an example chartbook. How do I update this with a group of my own chartbooks I wish to open (and remove the example chartbook)? Many thanks for your help. Rob Date Time Of Last Edit: 2024-08-08 10:56:28

a) Are you placing the order on a chart or on a Trading DOM? And is the DOM you refer to where the Orders and Positions are not showing the same chart/Trading DOM or is this a different window? Do the Orders and Positions show on the same Chart/Trading DOM where you place the order? If you are not getting any Order/Position lines, then this would imply that the position is opening and closing immediately, which would mean something is not correct in your attached orders, or that the order is rejected. After placing the order, check your "Trade >> Trade Service Log" to see if there is any information in there regarding a rejection. You can post the log to this thread for review - refer to the following for how to do this: Support Board Posting Information: Providing Lines From Trade Service Log b) Refer to the following and the setting below it: General Settings Window: Open Files On Startup (Global Settings >> General Settings >> General >> Startup) For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service: Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing |

Hi John, one final query which I've been trying to resolve for some time. When placing a "Horizontal Line" on a graph I sometimes use the "Chart Drawing Properties" to display "Show End Point Price". On my chart the font size is set to something like 12 which is too big. How can I change the font size? I have checked all the font sizes under "Graphics Settings - Chart - Font" but cannot locate the relevant font. Many thanks Rob |

For drawings that do not have their own font size set in the properties, the font is controlled by the "Global Chart Drawing Font", which is found on the "Tools >> Tool Settings >> General" page. Refer to the following: Chart Drawing Tools: Global Chart Drawing Font (Global Settings >> Tool Settings >> General >> Drawing Font) For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service: Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing |
