All orders entering as Market Entries instead of Limit!

Hello, forgive the brand new guy, please help. I have Sierra Chart installed and my Rithmic connection is working and trades are completing. So thing appear to be in order. However, EVERY entry I try to make enters as a current market order. Even selecting "Limit" in the dropdown, selecting the price I'd like it placed at, and placing. It automatically acts as a market order and enters a position at the current price. I can't trade like this, and well aware it might be new guy missing a setting. Please Help |

Most likely you are trying to put a Limit order a price that is not favorable, in which case the exchange is filling that Limit at the Market Price, which is a better price. For example, if you enter a Buy Limit order above the current Market Price, then this will automatically fill at the Market Price, since the current price is better than what you are setting. If the above is the case, then you need to enter the order as a "Stop-Limit".
