Thank You

This is a follow-up. On February 19th, I asked how I can cancel my subscription to Sierra Chart.
I currently pay $36.00/month on the 26th of each month. I wish to end my subscription but I can't
figure out how to do that on your site. Please tell me how to cancel my subscription.

Thank You

We have set your account to not renew, and we have refunded the current months subscription since it just started on the 18th. This gives you $36.00 in your Services Surplus with us.

Please post to the Account Support Tickets making a request for a refund of your Services Surplus back to the card used to make the payment. We will take care of it within that forum. You can access the Account Support Tickets at the following link:

Upon signing up for multiple services, paying for them and activating them, my account would not go out of sim and I could not trade. Please ensure that I have canceled all services correctly. I wish to end my subscription and am not sure If I did it correctly. If there is a surplus refund I would like that returned to my card.

Thank You

That appears to be the problem with this service. Very limited ability to get real time data. I am going to open an Interactive Trading account just to get real time data. If that does not work I will be canceling as well.

The reason you can not get out of Sim is because you have not setup your system to connect to your trading account. If you let us know what trading service you are using we can point you to the proper instructions to make that connection.

If you still just want a refund, then please post that in the "Account Support Tickets" and we will take care of it for you through that forum. You can access the Account Support Tickets at the following link:

We certainly do not know what you are referring to in terms of "Very limited ability to get real time data."

If you are referring to the CME Group requirement that you have a live, funded, futures trading account, this is a CME Group requirement, not ours. We also give you instructions on how to create an account to deal with this issue if you do not have an account already. That information is here:
Easy Solution to CME Funded Trading Account Requirement

We also offer Delayed Streaming data for the CME Group, EUREX, CFE, and NASDAQ TotalView exchanges. This data acts like real-time data, but is delayed by 10-15 minutes (depending on exchange) and is available at no cost. This allows people to use Sierra Chart and learn the system without having to pay for real-time data.

Thank you for responding - just want to ensure you realize that was not me referring to 'very limited ability to get real time data' - that was someone who jumped in on the chat forum. The only issue I had was that I could not get out of SIM after connecting data package and activating etc. I did request a refund in account support tickets so I guess they will take it from there. Thank you for your help and input.

Yes, we were responding directly to that person, hence the reference to their Support Board Name in the upper left of the response. The same is for when we responded to you directly (such as in this response).

We did refund your account per the Account Support Ticket.

Dear Sierra Chart Support Team,

I am writing to request the cancellation of my Sierra Chart subscription effective immediately.

Additionally, I would appreciate any guidance on how to receive a refund for any remaining balance in my account.

Thank you for your assistance. Please confirm once the cancellation has been processed.

Best regards,
Samuel

Since you had not used any of the time from the purchased packages, we were able to refund the Usage Time back to your Services Surplus.

At this time, you have 16 days of Usage Time remaining. After September 11, 2024 your account will automatically be put in a disabled state. There is nothing further you need to do in this regard.

After refunding the Usage Time, your Services Surplus balance was $72.00. We have a $5.00 processing fee for payment refunds, therefore a total of $67.00 has been refunded to your card.

Since we can only refund against actual transactions, you will see the refund in two parts, one for $36.00 and one for $31.00.

It can take up to 10 business days for the funds to show on your card.
