I have 2 identical 1m charts in separate SC instances for trading vs. two brokers. they both use Denali data. They are relatively complex color bar alerts, as they build up on a series of other studies (including other color bar alert studies). Occasionally the same signal fires on one chart and not the other. Related, I often see on other charts other color bar alert studies that disappear and require a reload of the chart to make them reappear. These disappearances are for different charts and different studies than those mentioned above. I think I'm going to have to rebuild these "systems" in either spreadsheets or ACSIL, because color bar alert appears unreliable. Anybody else seeing this? |

One quick solution you can try is the "evaluate on bar close" for all the color bar studies. That said, if you are overlaying data for you calculations, and/or calculating on different "time frames" the issue will most likely be related to bar indexes. There is nothing the color bar study can do to resolve this. Difficult to really give advice without more details of the chartbook structure, however, generally, you will want to persist the data you are feeding into your calculations. This can be done with spreadsheets but i would recommend using Acsil instead. |

Thanks for the ideas... However, some studies evaluate on close, some do not, by design. All Studies are included in the same chart, so no time frame issues. |
