Hello,

I have been trying to do some market replay but to no success. When I market replay it does not play then skips back to present day.
When I check days to load it is sufficient so that is not the issue.
I then check the 'Date-in-rage' and it is stuck to last week, I try to edit this and then it just simply reverts back to the date it is already on.
I have tried to 'delete all data and redownload' and it doesn't work either.

I get this message on the message log: 'File compression not supported on file system. D:/SC/Data/CLH23-NYMEX.scid Windows error code 1: Incorrect function.

Have no clue what is wrong

Cheers for the help.

Have you tried starting the replay using the Use Start Date-Time option? If not, then try this by enabling that option and then entering a Date and Time that you know is within the chart and then select Play to start the replay. Let us know what happens.

Hi there ,

Yes this is possible but the charts only go back to the 2nd of January 2023- days I have already traded this year so replay would be pointless .

The error is that I cannot download old data.

And to make you aware, I am using the start date-time feature

Cheers

First of all, the error in your log regarding compression can be ignored. Usually we see that when Sierra Chart is being run on a Mac. But it is not an issue.

You definitely can not start a replay from a point before you have data in your chart. Therefore, the issue you need to solve is getting additional data into your chart.

It looks like you are using our Delayed Streaming Data for your data source, therefore refer to the following information:

Hello,

I have tried all the steps and still no success.

When adjusting data/adjusting first date of data I get the same message as before for each individual contract.

So as I am trying to download 12 months of data I get 12 x 'File compression not supported on file system. D:/SC/Data/CLH23-NYMEX.scid Windows error code 1: Incorrect function.'

Except for each of the contracts I desire.

Sorry for the hassle

Cheers.

Are you using a Continuous Futures Contract? And are you getting the data in the chart as you expect?
