The exchange fees are paid monthly and do not have a way to pre-pay for multiple months. Therefore on January 1, 2023 you did not have enough funds in your account to renew the exchange that you had activated. If you do not want to have to "think about" adding the funds each month, then you can add enough funds to your Services Surplus to cover the same time period as your Usage Time (for example - add $42.00 to cover the $7.00 exchange fee for 6 months). It looks like you have figured this out and added funds and reactivated the exchange. If you need more help with this, let us know.
