New machine came pre-installed with Windows 11 Home. Hate getting re-adjusted to the usually useless changes Microsoft makes in it's updates. Supposedly the marketing claims seem to be there are CPU and Memory management performance improvements in Windows 11.

From SC Engineers and Users through testing, what is the most Stable OS and Version to run for best performance and stability in Sierracharts?

That really is impossible for us to answer.

We do not like operating systems beyond Windows 7. Windows 7 is the best but that is not very practical to run any longer. Especially on new hardware which does not support it.

We would recommend staying away from Windows 11 for the time being.

SC Engineering, i agree with you 100%, and it is a difficult place to be.

Have you specifically seen issues or had issues reported with Windows 11 so far?

So with a new high end 2022 system/hardware, PCIE NVME Gen 4-5 SSDs, DDR5 Memory, Nvidia graphics card etc, that came with Windows 11 preinstalled, is the best compromise for reliability/stability/performance/practicality, to start fresh with Windows 10 Professional still?

Although there have been occasional issues brought up that could be Windows 11 related, we have not been able to verify anything. The most common statement is that Sierra Chart works fine on Windows 11.
