Chart Background/Trade Window Background (2288)

In Trade Simulation Mode the trade window is distinct from the chart background. My SIM chart background is black, the trade window is a light blue. The Global Graphics Settings are turned off for this chart. When I switch Trade Simulation Mode off the trade window background is the same as the chart background. This obscures the quantity button's shadow making it difficult to see which button is set. The Graphics Setting-Chart>>Chart Trade Windows Background - Non-Simulated/Live setting appears to have no effect. I can change it to any color and the trade window background is the same as the chart background. Please let me know how to adjust the trade window background setting to be distinct from the chart background.

If the options for Graphics Setting >> Chart Trade Windows Background - Non-Simulated/Live are not working, then you must be using Chart specific graphics options. Open the window for Chart >> Graphics Settings - Chart and you should have the option at the top for Use Global Graphics Settings Instead of These Settings unchecked. In this case, you would need to change those graphics settings from within these Chart specific settings. Please review these pictures. They better illustrate the issue. I am not using the Global setting. If I am in SIM, I can control the trade window background. If I am in Live, I cannot control the trade window colors. I want to control the color of the trade window in any mode.

You will want to ensure that the following setting is NOT enabled: Basic Trading and the Trade Window: Main/C >> Menu >> Settings >> Color Same As Chart (chart specific) For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service: Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing
