Hello Sierra, I have been in contact with my broker for a long time about the issue of trading Eurex futures, especially FDAX or FMDX. My broker tells me I cannot trade Denali / TT on EUREX. I would have to open a subaccount and use another service, e.g. CQG. I don't really believe that, because I seem to remember that I used to trade Eurex via TT with AMP futures. However, I am not sure. I'm also a bit embarrassed because I keep getting on my Introducing Broker's nerves about this. Because I'm very happy otherwise. But this thing is unsettling me. I would like to know where I stand. Under the seal of secrecy: Can you tell me if this really doesn't work or what other reason there could be why my broker doesn't want me to trade EUREX via TT with Denali? Thanks and best regards |

Unfortunately, if your broker is telling you you can't trade EUREX with TT, then they are simply not allowing it. The most common reason for this is that TT charges a fairly large fee in order to allow trading on EUREX. Most brokers, therefore, have decided that they will just not offer the EUREX trading, as it is too expensive for them. Or, they offset some of this cost by charging the end-user a monthly fee for trading EUREX with TT. Therefore, if they tell you that you would need to use CQG, then that is the only option for now. Keep in mind, even when we have our Direct CME Order Routing, we will not have the EUREX until later, so if you want both at the same time, you would need to continue with CQG until we get the EUREX order routing. For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service: Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing |
