Hi, Last night i had placed a trade with my account for 5mnq with a stoploss in place, i did this just after 6pm so that i could hold this position as long as i wanted into the next day if i so chose. When i woke up and looked at my platform it was not showing any open orders on my chart, or stoploss, but when i looked at my acct balance it was showing that 500 was tied up as margin so i knew something wasnt right. I called AMP Global Clearing and they were able to flatten the position and stoploss thankfully, and everything seems to be reflecting properly now. But i still had a position on and a stoploss in place and i couldnt do anything or even see it from my platform, Can you explain this to me ? Is this something that happens often ? Do you know what causwed this? I have been using sierra charts for about 4 months now and really never had a problem, this was my first issue. so i just wanted to bring it to your attention. and try to figure out why it happened . It is not possible for us to know what the issue is but it most definitively is not a problem within Sierra Chart. Maybe you had Trade >> Trade Simulation Mode enabled in Sierra Chart. You should have looked at the Trade >> Trade Orders Window and Trade Positions Window to see the orders and positions there. Thank you for the response, in the future i will look there first if something like this ever happens again. I did look there and it was not makikng sense to me. I have not had nay issues with sierra chart prior , and like the platform , I just wanted to bring it to administrative attention in case it was something that could affect myself or others in the future. Thanks for the help.
