This is the message I've been receiving, Understandably you may instruct me again to look for this old style symbol but I've search and CONVERTED and yet I still receive this message.I've attached the message and a scrn sht of that subinstance's file directory.

The easiest thing to do is to select Edit >> Translate Symbols to Current Service with your Chartbooks open. If there is an odd symbol out there, this will update it and should resolve the issue. You would need to run the command in each instance of Sierra Chart you have running. John I'll repeat this process as I've done this a couple of times. My action plan is dis/ data feed open every chartbook in every instance then convert. |

You do not need to disconnect from the data feed, but you do need to go through each Chartbook within the instance in which you are getting the message.

I've completed the instance I received the message in. I did not "go through" meaning visibly inspect every chartbook I only ran the Convert command with all chartbooks open. Shouldn't the offending file name show up in the File Explorer. I cannot find any such File "ngn21"the Data Folder for that instance or in any other instance. It's not a matter of having an offending file, it's related to a chart or Quoteboard somewhere having an incorrect symbol name that has not updated to the newer nomenclature, so the system gets confused as there are two different requests for the same data.
