Why there is a quite change when use symbol Volume Multiplier?

When using Numberbars the Ask/Bid volume value was very large, SC has the Volume Multiplier to change the large number to a small one.
But when a 0.0001 Volume Multiplier is used , the ask/bid volume of the same position can change a lot. To list a case: 73.0K --> 5/82.8K --> 7 /63.7K -- >5.9
So Why there is a quite change when use symbol Volume Multiplier?
