I am getting a bunch of these weird errors in the Trade Service Log, on a bar based backtest.

Apparently these have to do with the trailing stop logic. Might indicate a bug in the trailing-stop implementation logic.

Trade qty 3 with targets/stops:

Target 1: 10 ticks, qty 1
Target 2: 20 ticks, qty 1
Target 3: 30 ticks, qty 1
Stop 1: 10 ticks, qty 1, Stop
Stop 2: 10 ticks | 11 tick Trigger Offset | 10 tick Trail offset | qty 1, Triggered Trail Stop
Stop 3: 10 ticks | 11 tick Trigger Offset | 10 tick Trail offset | qty 1, Triggered Trail Stop

SC version 1915.

Additional note:

I place the original trades as market orders from within the ACSIL DLL. I have
the sc.UseGUIAttachedOrderSetting=1; set during SetDefaults.

It also feels like a bug because the whole GUI for SC will lock up for several minutes. Eventually
it will come out of its non-responsive state when the backtest has made some progress. But it is
atypical behavior.

It is not unusual during a back test for the Sierra Chart interface to freeze for short periods of time. This is not related to the error messages above. It has to do with all of the processing for a number of bars which is done in a single batch which can take take a noticeable amount of time.

This does not indicate any kind of problem. We are not sure of the exact scenario which this occurs but we know that it is not a problem. We will try to reproduce it. It just means that a trail order modification which was queued up could not proceed because the order was no longer in an open state.

Hello, since I am trading ES live I always have problems with my trailing SL. In CL it works, but in ES the order modification does not work automatically, But later I did get kicked out at that level. I read in this forum maybe to contact the exchange?

In the log it says:Order modification failed. Internal Order ID 10775. Service Order ID 3363667.

What can I do`?

Hi, it now happened again, but much worse. I entered (ES again) with market order around 3444 (Have automatically a SL of 2,5 points) and am IMMEDIATELY 6 POINTS in the red. Then I get kicked out with plus 0,25 pints, even though I made something like 6 Points.

I am really confused. This cant be normal, NOT ONE SINGLE ES trade was executed like planned. ALL DEMO ones were fine.

Am I getting something wrong here? CL trades were fine for years.

Thank you for you help, I really dont know what to do. Should I send my Trade activity log from today?

Trade window said I entered at 3450,75 (Trade activity log also staes it) but price was not nowhere near there, and if it was a time lag, why does it show MINUS 6 points on the P/L ?

I just dont get my head around. I am done for today.

The problem is you are receiving delayed data for the ES futures. Whenever we see descriptions like this, it is very clear what is happening.
