Hello Support,

Is it possible to setup the Number Bars Calculated Values so the background of each block would reflects the intensity of the traded Volume, Delta, Bar Duration, etc.? I would like to be able to color-code each printed value based on the intensity of the number similar to how it is done by Market Delta or Ninja Trader platform (please see attached slide) as an example.

I have found a thread on support forums (it is roughly 2 years old) which appears to be addressing this functionality. However, this was a privately developed code (dll) and I wounder if SC has implemented this feature within the past 2 years.

Applying Background in Numbers_Bars_Calculated_Values.

Thank you.

This functionality was added in version 1725. You will find the information for how to use this feature here:

How do we include coloring for pullback column? Also, how can we have coloring only for pullback column?

There is no coloring for the pullback column since those values typically vary greatly from the rest of the numbers. Therefore to add that to the coloring could throw off how to evaluate the rest of the colors. In addition, it would be a performance issue, since the pullback would continually cause the rest of the coloring to have to update with every iteration.

If you would want the pullback column colored by itself, how would you do that? What criteria would you use for the coloring?

I simply wanted the pullback cell to be green if greater than zero and red if less than zero. To do this use a background color alert function?

We will look into adding this as part of the study. It is not something that can be done using the Color Background Based On Alert study. Just give us a few weeks to get it done.

Thank you. While this is significantly more work, having the following additional options sometime in the future would be helpful and appreciated:

1) Allowing the pullback column to have the option to work either independently or in conjunction with the rest of the cells in a row.
2) Allowing ask/bid difference bars, bid and ask depth bars, and other studies access to this column.
3) Option to turn Number Bar Calculated Values cell rows into bars with high, low, close values displayed at top and bottom of bars instead of having to use Study Subgraph Above/Below Bar As Text.

Hello support -

I would like to be able to set thresholds for Number Bars Calculated Values. If the value is above/below a value then it changes the color of that block. For instance if Bid Volume Per Second is above X at close of bar then the background for that block gets colored. Or, if bar duration is under X then that block gets highlighted. The threshold isn't related to previous bars.

What is the best way to accomplish this?

It is not supported to change the color of the Numbers Bars Calculated Values in this way.
