Hi, The new account selection is a great idea. Would be nice if SIM was always available as an option. That being SIM integrated with live trading on a chart specific basis... |

This is not planned. There is only a single global setting for trade simulation mode.

The best way I can think of it is that SC user SIM is really fabulous... Now when warmed up lets switch over! The global thing is ok...but why not offer the option on any given chart... Markets move fast... I would personally default all charts to SIM before orchestrating an entry.. Just for the sense of order flow... If things are account specific then why not treat the SC SIM account as an option? |

I agree. I am trying to set up autotrading on 8 charts simultaneously. How to turn off individually from live trading but still have them go to to simulated trading would be excellent. Or is there already a way to do this?

This is possible if only SC modify the CELL "Send Orders To Trade Service (read-only)" to Send Orders To Trade Service (read-write): Right now it is only READ and set through the Spreadsheet For Trading menu. IF it is read-write then User can control the level of LIVE /SIM local to each chart through the input in EXCEL while the Global setting switch from SIM to LIVE . Automated trading systems can be set to be simulated only even if the global Trade Simulation Mode is disabled. Here is the documentation for this: https://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?l=doc/doc_ACSILTrading.html#SimulationToLive Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support.
