We have given consideration to the issue where you may not be able to use a Chartbook from a current version in a prior version of Sierra Chart. You will not be able to use a Chartbook saved with a current version of Sierra Chart if there have been new fields added to Chartbooks that do not exist in the prior version you have installed. It is not very common that user will have to go back to a prior version of Sierra Chart. There are some circumstances where this may be necessary for various reasons. This coming week we are going to work on allowing Chartbooks from any newer version to be used in a prior version without having to rely upon going back to a backup Chartbook which may not have all of your latest changes/additions. So this way you will not have to go back to a prior backup Chartbook. Therefore, beginning with approximately version 1016, any Chartbooks saved with a version after this version, will be able to be used in any prior version going back to version 1016. The work on Chartbooks described in the previous post is now done. This will be released in version 1017.
