Why on earth you chose to set this requirement for the Rithmic feed?

Obviously if I have Rithmic account I have broker account for it. Hence my trading is between me and my broker. If I satisfy conditions on this account it is open so I can receive Rithmic data.

You have no business to intervene in these relations.

I believe it is most unfortunate mistakes amongst you made in past 5 years I am using Sierra...

Please reconsider.

P.S. I for example use separate platform to trade why should I use Sierra for this? I don't want to and I wont. Would rather switch back to Ninja crap than I bend to your communist rules.

Hello SC Support

My opinion is different in details and the solution will be not important for me . But...
As I know a lot of traders use Zen-Fire in my country
The reason to cut Rithmic from SC by the end of this year makes the future w SC uncertain for them
Zen-Fire applies the inactivity fee 25$/mo - this solves the problem
Why Rithmic just do not charge an inactivity fee?

Thank you.

their reasoning is about Zen fire.. What it has to do with Rithmic? I know ZF is a wrapper to Rithmic data but still.. Its not charting software provider business to make us trade. SC should be more proactive and maintain relations with the data provider rather then pushing users around.. Bad business model..

SC Team

Could you confirm that Zen-Fire will be supported w SC in case Rithmic will block SC from their system?

Thank you.

Maxima,

You are clearly not aware that Rithmic can cut us off including access to Zen-Fire if there are not enough users trading from Sierra Chart. This is not our choice. With the trading requirement that Rithmic is imposing, it then becomes our problem to ensure people are trading on Sierra Chart when using Rithmic. Once again, this is not our choice.

Anyway, you just need to update to the latest release of Sierra Chart and order fills received from another program also count as trading activity, so you will not get a periodic disconnect. So you can trade from another program. This is no problem.

Complete details can be found here:
http://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?l=doc/Rithmic.php#TradingRequirement

Would you also please do not contact Rithmic about this. This is between us and them.
