I am using the CTS service and just updated to V999. When clicking on "Open Trade Window For Chart" nothing happens. Am I missing something or is this a bug? I have two accounts with CTS and would like to be able to switch between them.

Go to the chart or Trade DOM that you want to Trade Window for and select Chart >> Reset Child Windows and try again.

Do I need to check "Enable FIX Logging" in Data/Trade Service Settings??

I selected "Reset Child Window" but that didn't help. Do I need to enable FIX logging in the settings?

You do not need to enable Enable FIX Logging. You should have no trouble with the resetting of the child windows and then subsequently opening the Trade Window. We tested that and it works correctly. You definitely should see the trade window after you reset the child windows and then open the Trade window. Are you using multiple monitors? This is puzzling. We have not had any known case of this. Restart Sierra Chart and try again. Also try restarting your computer. Most likely your system is running low on resource memory. What happens when you open a new chart and then open a Trade Window for it? Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support. Other responses are from users. I restarted my computer. The Trade Window does (!) appear when I open a completely new chart. It still does not (!!) appear for existing charts.

Are these existing charts detached charts? We cannot even imagine why you would have any trouble opening the Trade Window if you go to Chart >> Reset Child Windows. That flat-out should work no problem at all. The way that function is implemented is very reliable. We have just reviewed it now. Anyway, for now use Trade >> Attach Trade Window to Chart. You should definitely see it by using this command. Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support. Other responses are from users. I tried the following: I switched off all trade settings in an existing chart and then clicked on "Open trade window for Chart". What opens now is the old Trade Window in which you cannot change the account. So it must have something to do with already existing charts.

ok, in an existing chart I reset child window and used "Attach Trade Window to Chart". What appears is the old Trade Window where you cannot change the account. It works fine in the new chart. I think it has to do with existing charts.

You could not be running the newer version and have the old trade window. That is completely impossible. Only the first tab of the window allows you to change the account. If you could please attach an image of the trade window that you see. Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support. Other responses are from users. The attached image 1 shows the existing chart in V999 with the old Trade window, the attached image 2 is a new chart and there you see the new Trade Window, both in the same new SC version 999

I found the solution: It was my fault and I apologize. I had the Trade Window in the existing chart set to "C". When click on the "Main"-tab then everything is there and ok. I apologize again for having cost you precious time. I was blind and didn't see the obvious, sorry. Thanks so much for your help!!!

Yes, we did recognize that was the problem.
