Can you confirm on your side with 30 minutes charts using the @ES#C IQFeed symbol? I'm seeing some out of sync days when I overlay the TPO Value Areas from a 30 minutes bar chart into the TPO chart. This should be in sync since we are dealing with 30 min periods. Thanks |

We need to get your chartbook, with this configuration. It should only contain 2 charts. For instructions to attach it, follow these steps: https://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?l=PostingInformation.php#AttachFile We also need to know what your Time Zone setting in Sierra Chart is. Still trying to understand what happened here. I created a new chartbook and new charts so I could send to you but when I got all studies set up I noticed that the overlay was now in sync. I went back to my chartbook and I could still see the overlay out of sync. I remembered to reload and recalculate all charts/studies. This ended up fixing the problem, I think, since from that moment all charts became perfectly in sync. Question, when we have charts with one symbol and then change to a symbol which trades on a different exchange, on a different time zone, can this confuse some studies, namely the ones that depend on time to make their calculations? I had all my charts set to ZN and than using the same charts I changed the symbol to ES and it seems that something went off while doing this that apparently was fixed by reload and recalculate the data. No. You should not have to do a manual Recalculate.
