Dear Support, I have realized my error and was wondering how to fix data snooping? Currently i have a simple moving average from a longer time frame overlayed on a chart. Then i have a spreadsheet for trading on the shorter time frame chart for trade signals. Running my first couple of backtests i realized the amazing results were because of data snooping errors. How can i fix this and still use two time frames? IE 1 minute with 10 minute??? Your help is greatly appreciated. |

If you are using the Study/Price Overlay study, then refer to the documentation here: https://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?l=doc/doc_TechnicalStudiesReference.html#s118 There are many inputs which control the referencing of data between the 2 charts.
