I keep getting the error "logged in elsewhere" when trying to log into sierra on a different computer. It is the same username and password however the account number is different. I an using cts t4 to connect through sierra. It isn't sierras log in but cts. Cts said it is allowed on their end. Is this not allowed through sierra? Thanks

It is most certainly allowed through Sierra Chart, but CTS is only going to allow one simultaneous connection per CTS T4 username to their system.

Ok thanks. Is there a way to specify an account number per window inside the one log in? The different windows would autotrade different account numbers and different programs.

Great, this would be very useful for our situation when it comes out. I didn't want to start another thread, but what is the progress on shortening the symbols from CTS? For example....to get a chart to load for ES on CTS using sierra I would have to type in "CME_Eq-ES-CME_20130300_ESH3" That is extremely long and I can't remember that. Typing ESH13 is easier. Thanks again. |

The symbols will not be shorter but they will look like this: ES.CME_20130300_ESH3.CME_Eq Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support. Other responses are from users. Sierra Chart provides easy ways to change the symbol of the chart. For example, there is the Associated Watch List: http://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?l=doc/doc_SwitchingSymbols.html#AssociatedSymbolList So you should not have to manually type the symbol.
