Hi,
I track various commodities.
Since the update one week ago, the continuation charts no longer work.
I get 4 bars (weekly) on my weekly continuation... which doesnt offer much of a long term perspective..in fact it is less perspective than the current month contract.
I use V based rollover with no back adjustment.
Please fix in the next update to the way it used to be.
Much appreciated.

Re-download the data by deleting files as explained here:

Most likely the issue is that because the data had to be re-downloaded you ended up hitting the daily download limit.

What is the exact and complete symbol of the chart? We only need to know the symbol of one chart.

try gold futures (GC) for example.
The V based continuation doesnt work anymore.
I just tried creating a new one... using April GC (as current month) and then creating a V based continuation chart with no pullback. It doesn't work - just like the existing ones with all my work on them.
It is required for trading... since the recent sharp decline came off a resistance level from the continuation chart.
this is all a bit surprising since the CME datafeed is otherwise excellent and has been up to this point. It stopped working from update 1233

please help.

Please tell us the exact symbol of the chart. The symbol of the chart could not be just GC.

The continuous futures contract feature does work properly. We are trying to determine what the specific problem is in your case.

You can see here a continuous futures contract chart with the symbol set to GC-201504-NYMEX when using Interactive Brokers:

Also be sure to read the prior post.

GC-201504-NYMEX [M]
I have the CME data feed through SC with the IB API.
It doesn't pull out the data properly anymore and my weekly continuation charts have gone from awesome decade-long view to a measly few bars.

thanks

OK I got it to work.
I went to EDIT delete all data and download.
then I said 'no' and chose each historical symbol individually.
problem solved.
thanks for the help anyways.
best
