:: User Discussion :: I use a logitech trackball which has buttons 8 and 9. Under windows they were mapped and usable. But Logitech doesn't supply Linux drivers so I thought they were unusable. That's a shame because I used them for position alignment and other functions in Sierra Chart (button press and ctrl button press gave me 4 combinations of mouse to key combination to drive SC). Then I discovered btnx which is a daemon/gui combo that allows you to map your mouse buttons to actions or key combinations. http://awesomelinux.blogspot.com.au/2012/08/btnx-for-ubuntu-1204-precise.html I post that just in case anyone else had lost some mouse functionality for getting the most from Sierra Chart. |
