Dear Sierra, I trade 2 contracts, and I use attached orders to automatically set 2 stoploss at the same price and 2 different profit targets. it often happens that during the trade, 1 profit target is hit and I'll be left with just 1 contract with its corresponding stoploss and profit target. at this time, a problem will occur when I try to place another order with 2 contracts that has attached stoploss and profit target. I receive this error message: "Trade Order Error: The order quantity for the Parent is 1 and this is less than the total order quantity of 2 for the Attached Orders. Please adjust the order quantities so the parent is greater or equal to the Attached Orders." it happens every time when I try to do the above. and I just can't figure out why. I understand what the message was saying. but I wasn't trying to place attached orders for the remaining portion of the previous order. I was trying to place a new order! how could it be so dumb not to understand that! I had to disable attached orders in order to place the new order, so that it wouldn't be protected until I manually place stoploss orders for it. this really bugs me, please help. |
