If you still have trouble connecting, we definitely believe it is due to firewall. However, as an alternative you can go back to version 976: http://www.sierrachart.com/downloads/976SierraChartSetup.exe Make sure you install it into the proper folder. In Sierra Chart, select Window >> Show/Hide Message Log. At the top of the log you will see a line that says Program Path. That is the folder you need to install it into.
