hi guys, I understand what u guys position, can I explain further of what I observe: look at Chart>>Recalculate..when selected, it will do a recalculation of all those charts of the same symbol regardless whether what types of studies we set up, and within a second, all updated. The CPU does not show any spikes of load whether I use the circular reference or the normal overlay/price function, it does not freeze up nor lag in the chart price bars, even I test onto one second time frame, no loading on the CPU.. as per normal...looking at the Windows Task Manager performance graphs, normally when using 10 charts with or without circular referencing is around 23% CPU load when market opens and aggressive trading activities, it occasionally spikes, but within a flip of second, back to normal...I click on the 'Recalculate,, the charts get updated within a second without any spikes of load on the CPU, I do not understand which "CPU" u guys is referring??? I using quad core, I believes most traders will use fast speed CPU nowadays to trade in this fast internet trading... May I suggest that this "Recalculate" be written with a check box and a default 1 min time cycle set in the program. Trader can uncheck if they do not require this tool. After so many years using Sierra Charting, I really like it because of it flexibility to create a good charting to suit my trading decisions, accurate and no fuss...comparing to others charting providers... hey guys, must give it a go and make the most out of the software ability, there must be a simplify way to make it works, as a full time trader, we will count on u guys to support us to make a living, same as the F1 drivers needs their mechanics to tune up their engines to win in the race....the drivers don't know what to do?? Right?? thanks and cheers! |
