I'm using the latest versions of both - 5.5.1 on TransAct and 984 on Sierra Could you update to the latest release of Sierra Chart by selecting Help >> Download Current Version. Let us know if you still have trouble connecting. The firewall problem should be solved. The TransAct bridge should be bypassing the firewall.
