Post From: How to add value area to Numbers Bar study

I need some advice for creating a specific chart please:

I want to create a chart that displays 5 minute candlesticks, each with a volume profile and highlighted POC & value area.

I tried two approaches so far, but none of them is fully satisfying:

Approach #1 (first screenshot): Using a Volume by Price study that is added to each candlestick. I can easily highlight POC and value area here. However, most of each candlestick (unless I make it overly wide) is hidden behind its corresponding volume profile which makes the candlestick (and especially its wick) difficult to see. Furthermore, drawing that many VbP studies has a significant impact on performance, i.e., I can only have a very limited number of days before it starts lagging.

Approach #2 (second screenshot): Using a Numbers Bar study together with a Volume Value Area for Bars study. I can easily highlight the POC and it has no impact on performance. The candles (and wicks) are clearly visible as well. However, the added value areas look just ugly and distracting. I tried different shapes / draw styles but I simply couldn't find a way to make this look nice.

I would prefer using the Numbers Bar study for performance. However, I don't like the way the value area looks. Is there any way to simply color the bars of the Numbers Bar study accordingly, so that it looks similar to a VbP study with highlighted value area?
If not - is there maybe any other study I could use to achieve the desired result?
