Post From: Market Replay and "Use As Trade Only" Symbol

Hello SC Support, I have a question about this statement "The Trade and Current Quote Symbol should not be used during a chart replay or back testing. It is meant to be used for either non-simulated or simulated trading using the currently updating data feed for the symbol of the chart. Otherwise, the price data used to fill the orders will be based upon the underlying symbol of the chart and therefore this may not make any logical sense" found here >> Chart Settings: Updating Currency Value per Tick for Trade Symbol

I want to run my fully tested strategy based on NQ 30-second chart to see if it would also work on MNQ. There is no volume, market depth or $ calculations involved in the study collection. Straight up entries and exits @ candle open price with all calculations, commissions and Daily profit/loss targets set in Ticks. I did a quick compare of candle open price of 30-second chart between the NQ and MNQ and delta is within the range of 6-10 ticks so there won't be any negative impact.

Will market replay backtest results be accurate if I set
main symbol=NQ
Trade and Current Quote Symbol = blank
Use As Trade Only Symbol=MNQ (I want all trades to happen on MNQ)
There is automatic rollovers involved as my test range is 1/1/22-12/31/2022.

Just looking for accurate backtesting (using calculate on every tick replay setting) and whether it is worthwhile to every try this out in replay.

Edit: All entries and exits are market orders. if TP is 100 ticks in NQ, I am okay with TP of 100 ticks in MNQ also so I can also ignore making any currency value of tick (5$ versus 50cents) related setting changes.

Edit1: moving this to User Discussion to see if anyone can share their experience with market replay or live trading of MQ/MNQ pairs.
