Depending on your network connection and if you are trying to download tick-by-tick data, then it could take more than 30 minutes. It sounds like everything is working properly, so you just need to give it the time to download the data you asked for. An alternative is to get the data at a larger spacing (1 second, or 1 minute) depending on whether you can do that or not.
