Yes this is possible when you are specifying the Trade only symbol. Let's say you are trading the symbol AMD with Interactive Brokers and using the market data from Sierra Chart from their Nasdaq feed. The Symbol would be set to AMD-NQTV and the Interactive Brokers trade symbol would normally be this. AMD-STK-SMART-USD. To direct rout an order you need to specify the sub exchange like this. AMD-STK-ISLAND-USD. Do not include SMART. That will direct rout your order to ISLAND. That will bypass the IBKR SMART routing system. When you do that for the first time you will get an error hit the message log and you will need to check a box in the TWS API Precautionary settings. It is the last setting 'Bypass Redirect Order Warning for Stock API Orders'. |
