When you refer to a separate instance, are you saying that you have a completely separate installation of Sierra Chart, such that you have 2 installations in total, one connected to IB and the other to SC Data - All Services? If so, then you should not have a problem with this setup. You should be able to connect the one to IB and the other to SC Data - All Services without any issue. Are you not getting the selections in the File >> Data/Trade Service Settings? If you are using a Sub-Instance, then what you are asking for is not supported. Sub-Instances are always setup to get their data from the main instance from which they were started.
