What you are trying to do is not allowed within the system. The basic premise is that if you are using the Trading Evaluator, then you are essentially running in a Simulation mode, so therefore Simulation mode is not available. If you want to be in Simulation Mode, you will need to change your File >> Data/Trade Service Settings >> Current Selected Service to SC Data - All Services, or you can set it to your live trading account credentials. In either case, when set this way, you can then be in Simulation mode.
