This is good. Unless you have more than one Trade account on your Trader Workstation username, if you been having a problem where the position would disappear after about 8 seconds and you had entered the correct Positions Account number in Global Settings >>Data/Trade Service Settings (this was required in older versions of Sierra Chart) then this was indicating that TWS was not automatically sending the position data whenever it changes. When there are multiple trade accounts on a TWS username, there is a problem with this because Interactive Brokers will not send automatic position updates for more than one account, only a single account. So the solution is now we no longer start automatic position updates and manually request them upon every fill and upon connection to TWS. We should not have to do this. This really is something that Interactive Brokers needs to address. We do not have this problem with any other trading service.
