Hi John, I knew you'd be mad if I sent another email, so am sending this update thru the normal route. Everything is so out of whack with my charts. I took 4 charts and studies from my main setup and installed on this machine. I have changed all the symbols, the tick sizes, and the time zone(note you do not have a drop-down for Sao Paulo which seems odd as the exchange is pretty big) I custum made it for -3 UT. Here is a description of the 4 charts 1-tpo loads, but tho there are 100 days, that is what I get and nothing more 2- 60 min seems ok 3-this should be a one minute chart with moving median on zone 2 but it won't load at all 4-the bottom chart should be a delta footprint with a study from Prop Alpha. Instead it's a mess. Some is NO bueno, I am trying but it's all bad. Karen |

The first thing to do is to create a basic chart with just bars at some bar period that you like to view. Make sure the data is working properly in that chart. If you are not getting the data properly in that chart, then you need to start with why that is occurring. From there, our best guess on what is occurring with your charts is that you copied charts and updated the symbol, but there may be references to other charts with the studies that are not referencing the original NQ charts and not these updated ones. You would need to check your studies to ensure that everything is consistent within this grouping. John, thank you for your reply. I have downloaded a new version of SC into my big computer that runs All Service and Teton. I just successfully connected to IQ. I created a new chartbook and a brand new chart with nothing on it. First, every chart I create with DIJ...comes up with yellow 'symbol settings not found...' see 1st attachment. The chart appears to work but this banner comes up for the first 2min. Second, I created a tpo which has 150 days but it is stuck on 4 days only, and won't obey the number of days to load. Do I have to switch on something? I am sorry I did try googling but nothing comes up. So how do I get this to give me all the days please?! Sorry to bug you, I am trying soooo hard. Karen |

Is there a reason why your charts are set to January 2027, more than 2 years in the future? There won't be much data that far out. Try looking at DIJF25 January 2025.

this is a stir product, trust me I know what I am doing here. The Jan 25 is now just spot. These contracts go out many many years. You know what a STIR is right? So there is something wrong with tpo settings.I can a plain daily bar chart for this '27 contract and it's fine back 2 years. It is an issue with the tpo.

so you can all see here is a daily chart going back to july of last year. A STIR contract trades for YEARS... ok now that is clear notice how I can slide the chart on the bottom? There is no slider on bottom of these DI charts. Obviously, I have done something wrong with this new product as all charts are affected.

it has to do with intra day vs daily. I took the daily chart and made it a 30 min and you can see same issue. I cannot scroll back(there is no scroller) and it stops on 14th. Please can anyone tell what is wrong here? thank you for you time.

signing off for the night. I can get most things to work, but as you see in the log(I googled and followed your instructions to someone with a similar issue) it only loads data from the 14th, 4 days. I can do anything more until I find out how to unstick all these charts from 14th...thank you for your help.

With regards to the "Symbol Settings Not Found for Current Service" that is occurring because these specific symbols are not setup within the system, and they will not be. You will just have to put up with that message for the first 2 minutes and then it will go away. With regards to the data, do not worry about the TPO. Start with a standard intraday chart for that symbol (30 minute bars is fine). It looks like you only have the same amount of data loaded for that situation as well. John, I have done all your instructions asked this morning(I actually did it all yesterday, but to make sure I didn't make an error I did it again). 1- the data limiting is set to 'use number of days to load' 2-days to load are 130 3-I then went to Global Trade service and I have non tick data set to 186 4- I also have set 'allow support for SC data feeds' to NO as per instruction I found on google (I tried it both NO and YES and neither work) 5-finally I did the green highlighted necessary step and I deleted and downloaded all data. As you can see from screenshot I hopefully have followed your instructions to the letter and still it is stuck at the 18th of Nov! This is a simple one-minute chart with nothing but 2 SC studies on volume. Again the daily historical data loads but NOT the intraday. Please advise as I have done, I think, all you instructed. aaaagggh they only give 4 days of intraday data on the trial. WTF is that all about? How can I evaluate if charting tools work for this exotic Brazillian interest rate if I don't have access to the full data? NOT an issue with you guys but with them. I have asked for 2 days of full data on the last of the trial. If it works they have a new client, if it doesn't why should I have to pay them for a full month??? Well at least I know I wasn't doing anything wrong. I mean after 6 years w SC and setting up numerous products I couldn't believe I was being soo blond and stupid. It was them...rat finks... thanks for your help, and make of note of what cheapskates they are on the trial. Karen |

John, do you realise this firm only offers 186 days of tick data? So even with a full sub you only get a half year. Think of cme data-you get years and years...Just thought I'd let you know

John, I am having a very good experience with them now. They have given me a couple of days full access, and I am pretty sure I will become a client as Brazil looks good. What's bad about them is that 2 guys said no, can't give you full access. You know me, I asked this super helpful guy and he said sure...So not a lot of consistency in the firm, but this one guy is an angel. Have a good night. Karen |
