Hi Sierra Chart support, I have setup spreadsheet for trading to open trade but it only open 1 contract size while I used attached order and clicked on 2 contract size. Please refer to attached screenshot for your reference and let me know what I missed? Further to this, how can I setup spreadsheet for trading to open buy limit at lowest closed of previous hour and open sell limit at highest closed of pervious hour? I can't find any detail on this from documentations. Hope you can assist. Thanks and regards, Ken B |

If you have specified a quantity in the J column cell for "Order Quantity" then this will override the quantity that is set in the Trade Window. Refer to the following: Spreadsheet Systems, Alerts and Automated Trading: Order Quantity [J26] To open a Buy Limit or Sell Limit you need to set the J column cell for "Buy Entry: Order Type" and/or "Sell Entry" Order Type" to be "L" for Limit (or "SL" for Stop Limit) and then set the J column cell for "Limit or Stop Price - Buy Entry" and/or "Limit or Stop Price - Sell Entry" to be the Limit price you want. You can enter a formula in these cells to get the previous hour's Lowest and Highest values. Refer to the following: Spreadsheet Systems, Alerts and Automated Trading: Buy Entry: Order Type [J71] Spreadsheet Systems, Alerts and Automated Trading: Limit or Stop Prices [J22, J23, J24, J25] Spreadsheet Functions: Serial DateTime Values For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service: Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing |
