I have a question about drawings.

Lets say I have a chart with a study that draws on the chart (SMA, Vwap, etc) and I put an extended rectangle on the graphic produced from the study subgraph. I do that to see it clearly and using "Copy chart drawings form other charts" want that extended rectangle to display to any chart I choose.

Over time this study subgraph graphic will likely move but the rectangle will not.

Is there a study or method to always have the relationship between the study subgraph and the rectangle remain constant? In other words, to have the rectangle move with the developing subgraph output.

I do know I can use study overlay however the extended rectangle (size, color, text) has special meaning to my extensive prep work. I am interested it having the drawing placement be dynamic.

Any thoughts?

There is not a way to do this using the built-in tools. You would have to create a custom study to do this. Refer to the following:
