I am using an auto trade system via the Spreadsheet System for Trading. All good. I have recently started using Attached Orders to set a stop loss. This all happens perfect. I have been having a problem, however, when it come time to close the trade (via Buy Exit or Sell Exit).

Without Attached Orders my Buy or Sell exit will work fine. I have a number of parameters to satisfy the exit signal and it seems to work fine. When I use an Attached Stop Loss I seem to lose the functionality wrt. the Spreadsheet System for Trading. My Buy Exit or Sell Exit don't seem to work. This is a copy of the Trade Service Log when I try to execute a Buy Exit.

Long position quantity does not exist or there are already working exit orders that will flatten the position. Current Position with working exit orders: 0. Current Position: 1. Current Position with exit market orders: 1

To clarify, the long position did exist as is confirmed by Current Position: 1. The Current Position with exit market order: 1, is the Stop Loss. But, this is not allowing my Buy Exit to execute from the Spreadsheet Study for Trading. Is there something I have done wrong here? I don't get why using an Attached Stop Loss would stop the Spreadsheet Study Buy Exit (or Sell Exit) from executing. I do understand why one might want this to happen, but is there a way to turn it off? I have looked through the various order types and don't see anything that would seem to help.

I guess at its core, do Attached Orders stop the Spreadsheet Study for Trading study from executing a close on a position if there is a stop loss?

Thanks guys.

When using Attached Orders and also spreadsheet formula exits, 'Cancel All Working Orders On Exit' needs to be set to Yes.

Thank you. I was hoping it was something stupid that I missed.
