How to set an OCO order in

I'd like to be able to right click->buy/sell limit and to have OCO stop and another limit(profit taking) to be placed all at the same time. I'd adjust the stop and the opposing limit manually. How to set this up? It's working on one chart, but stop and limit end up waaaay too far from the entry limit order, so much so that I have to change the time frame to find them. It's not showing up at another chart at all. Use attached orders is checked in both cases. Not sure where are the settings for this. |

Maybe I'm thick or impatient, but after skimming thru it I didn't find how it relates to what I'd like to achieve. It's about configuring a trade window. I did used it, so I'm familiar with those basics. I'd like to place orders not thru the trade window, but rather by right click->buy/sell limit with OCO stop and limit. "Use attached orders" is ticked. When right click on the chart there's, for example "Buy OCO limit and stop", two lines show up but when I click again on the chart, both disappear. So am I supposed to create and save an attached order template in the trade window and then(somehow)have it show when right click via "Customize chart trade menu"? |

In order to place a Limit order on the chart with an attached Stop and Target (limit), you need to first have the Attached Orders setup as you want them in the Trade Window. Then just place a Limit order on the chart and the attached orders will be placed as well - so right click and select "Buy Limit".

I figured it out. Thanks. I've set it to "simple bracket" and now limit and child orders show up. It was set to whatever numbers there were when I took the last trade on the sim via the chart trade window, so I was getting only the entry order instead of the whole OCO group. |
