Hi, My trade window and risk/reward tool both calculate a $20 point value rather than a $50 point value on my ES chart. For example, if I set my stop loss to 4 ticks it shows my loss would be $20. It seems like the point value is set to NQ although I'm trading ES. However the correct value is shown in my trade activity log. This is affecting my ability to position size effectively. How can I solve this? Kind regards |

For that chart, check the setting for "Chart >> Chart Settings >> Symbol >> Currency Value per Tick". It sounds like this is set to 5 rather than 12.5. Refer to the following: Chart Settings: Currency Value Per Tick (Chart >> Chart Settings >> Symbol >> Symbol Settings menu) But, if you are using a "Trade and Current Quote Symbol" to another symbol, then you would want the "Currency Value per Tick" to be set to what is needed for that other symbol. Refer to the following: Chart Settings: Updating Currency Value per Tick for Trade Symbol For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service: Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing |
