When I enable the customize keyboard shortcut called Flatten and Cancel under the Trading Keyboard Shortcuts menu, does that function cancel all orders first, for both parent and child, and then flatten the current position with a Market Order once all the working orders that have not filled are cancelled? In other words, the Flatten and Cancel shortcut would firstly cancel all working orders and then send a Market Order to flatten any open position(s)? |

They are done at the same time, but you can force the working orders to be cancelled first, and then when the notification has been received that they have been cancelled the opposing Market Order is sent. Refer to the following: Global Trade Settings Windows: Hold Market Order Until Pending Cancel Orders Are Confirmed (Global Settings >> General Trade Settings >> General) For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service: Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing |
