Thanks for the info. The start of the message actually says "Socket gracefully closed by remote side"
would this not imply a connection problem with the server rather than a port problem on my PC ? My setup has been working fine for a long time previously.

First thing we recommend you do, is move from CQG to Teton order routing:

Based upon the log, it looks as though there was a degraded connection to CQG somewhere, causing the problem.
