Hi, I have a question please regarding using the draw volume profile tool in conjunction with study Collections from a control bar. I have setup comprehensive control bar buttons which change my charts in various ways using study collections, I also extensively use the draw volume profile tool - but because this tool is not a drawing but a study when I change study collections using my new buttons my volume profile tool is lost, I understand why this is happening of course but it's also extremely frustrating - is there a way to make the draw volume profile tool 'stick' so that I can change study collections without losing them please? Many thanks, Bill |

Not really. The only solution to this is to set the Study Collection to not remove existing studies: Study Collections: Adding a Study Collection Without Clearing Existing Studies On The Chart (Prompt to Remove Existing Studies) For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service: Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing |

Thanks John, I had a feeling that would be the answer... Is there any other way of hiding/showing studies from a control bar please (without using study collections)? Thanks, Bill |

There is not not a way to hide/show specific studies through the Control Bars/Keyboard Shortcuts. You could do this through a custom study, but the difficulty is going to be defining the particular study to show/hide. If there is only one of a particular study, then you could loop through the studies to find a particular one, but otherwise you would need to have some way to find the study you want to show/hide and tie to a particular button. Refer to the following: sc.GetStudyVisibilityState() Advanced Custom Study Interaction With Menus, Control Bar Buttons, Pointer Events https://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?page=doc/SierraChartStudyAndSystemProgrammers.php For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service: Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing |
