[Programming Help] - Custom Trading Keyboard Shortcut based on previous candle

Is there a non ACSIL way to create a trading keyboard shortcut that will create a buy/sell limit order at +/- X from the previous candle high/low? I looked at the custom keyboard shortcuts help page (Basic Trading and the Trade Window: Custom Trading Keyboard Shortcuts), but the customization is very limited. It would be great to have a X number of previous candles option in there, or even better if there was an 'alert condition' style box to enter formulas in there. |

In order to do what you want, you would have to use the "Spreadsheet System for Trading". This will allow you to put in a limit order at a price that you specify, which can be a formula. I'm not sure what I am looking at in the Settings and Input tab of the Spreadsheet Syustem for Trading, and where to put in something like =L[-1]+5 and have a hot key trigger this. I can work from examples, but I need to be pointed in the direction that has a bit more detail than https://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?page=doc/SpreadsheetExampleFormulasAndUsage.php. If you are requiring the use of a keyboard shortcut, then you would need to use the "Trading System Based on Alert Condition", as this allows for Enable/Disable using a Control Bar, and then a Keyboard Shortcut can be setup that activates/deactivates the control bar button. On the study is an Input for "ACS Control Bar Button # for Enable/Disable". You would set this to a particular control bar number. Then in "Global Settings >> Customize Keyboard Shortcuts" is a section for "Custom Study Control Bar Button Keyboard Shortcuts", where you would select the particular Control Bar number you setup for this study and then add the keyboard shortcut you want for it. You would need at least two copies of the study, depending on how many different options you want to have for +/- X related to Buy/Sell.
