Hi,

I use Interactive Brokers. Since a couple of days i cannot see my account balance of IB anymore. The trade account/monitor balance window is blank. Orders can be placed.

Is there something that can be done ?

I understand about the account balance and can work with that.

Not being able to place orders is a huge problem. I checked all the settings with the link provided already but still can NOT place orders.

Would really appreciate your help...what have I overlooked to enable trading?

There should not be a problem submitting orders. What symbol are you submitting an order for?

Make sure that Trade Simulation Mode is disabled:

Are there any rejections shown in Trade >> Trade Service Log when you submit an order:
Support Board Posting Information: Providing Lines From Trade Service Log

Check the Status of the order in Trade >> Trade Orders Window. What is the status of the order?

Trade simulation is not on. Does not show any orders in the "trade orders window" box.

As I said in the post above, when i attempt to place a futures trade-an immediate error message pops up and states "trading message from IB: no trading permissions. error code: 460"

That error, you need to contact Interactive Brokers about. They need to resolve that for you.

Isn't it a setting on Sierra Chart not allowing trades to be accepted and filled by IB?

I feel like I am missing a checkbox on Sierra Chart...is that not the case by the error code?

No it is not. This is error very clear from, interactive brokers rejecting the order.
