Hello, I'm learning how to code and was wondering, is it possible to write a custom study in Python? I'm learning C++ but was just wondering if python works too. If it does not work, will it ever be supported? Kindest Regards, |

We will not be supporting Python directly. We recall a post in this Support Board where someone posted some kind of connector for Python. We could be wrong. Writing in C++ means you are just as efficient as Sierra Chart at using data and outputting indicators or making trades. Python may be great for analyzing gobs of data with ease, but how much more do you need that and is it worth the overhead of interfacing with Python on every pass through a study? |
