Hi, Every time I close sierra chart and reopen it all my studies disappear and I cannot add them anymore due to some error message (screenshot attached). The only way to solve this problem is to uninstall and reinstall SC completely. I do not want to uninstall and reinstall SC every time as I lose all my chartbooks. Best regards, J. |

Your AntiVirus software (or something) is removing the file named SierraChartStudies_64.dll. You need to tell the AntiVirus software that the file is not dangerous and needs to be left alone. Also, you do not need to delete and re-install Sierra Chart. Just perform an update to the same version you are on and the installer will put that file back in place. My Antivirus software has been disabled and I still have the issue.

Either something is deleting that file, or somehow the permissions for the file are not allowing you to access it. We can not say what or why this occurring, as it is something outside of Sierra Chart that is doing this.
